Baking textures in Blender 2.8

There are two different common scenarios (not the only ones though) when you bake textures in Blender 2.8:

  • You have one low poly mesh you want to bake one texture to from multiple high poly meshes
  • You have multiple high poly meshes that are associated to several low poly meshes and you want to bake everything to one texture

Making an Asteroid in Blender 2.79

I show how simple and fast you can make an asteroid with low poly count but still looks ok. You could for example use as an asset in a simple game.
